Awesome vid doc!! Asking all the questions we have about strains and growing methods. Feel like we are left in the dark when it comes to knowing whoโ€™s cultivating flower correctly and whoโ€™s in it only for the money.

Funny how he mentioned there was about 9 strains or terepenes in vegas. Its same out here in California. The difference is who has the better cut and who grows it better. Nice work here Doc ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป

Thanks so much Doc for providing us with actual science and thoughtful questions being answered. Too much of the YouTube weed community portrays the cliche dumb stoner. We're lucky to have someone like you who represents us, average professional people who just so happen to use cannabis.

I know people love their high THC percentage but I agree 100% that it can't just be that alone. I had some 44% THC alien Runtz from AIM and it didn't get me any higher than my usual 25-34% strains. Some of these numbers aren't even realistic, I just saw a 54%thc strain from Darwin Farms. At least 2/3rds of the plant has to be actual plant and minerals to be viable.

I just wanted to add I've been doing my own anecdotal research about why modern strains lack the depth or effects of weed from the past. I've noticed almost every dispensary strain's trichomes under a microscope are all stalks with no heads. Only CBX consistently has intact trichome heads. Is the something something that's missing from our buds being stripped for use in concentrates? Or is it the machine trimming shaving off the trichome heads?

    Malik,
What a smart question. I will add that question to the next episode of โ€œAsk the Labโ€.
Todd may also not know as likely this would be hidden from the Lab too. He may or may not know something.
You need to buy smart now.
Aims is a good cultivator. I know actually know them. They are old school and have good heirloom strains. They are an original grandfathered in cultivation.
CBX has their own unique genetics and are top of the food chain in cultivation of flowers.
    Happy Tuesday..

@Weed Entertainment I'm exploring all your knowledge and content.

Distillate edibles are my least fave even with CBx

    Kushypunch is good
Stiiizy live resin gummies are great for the heavy heavy

Space gems are good for beach get aways

  • Weed Entertainment

    Andy,
    They have a good reputation..
    I have never tried..
I only tried one edible that I thought was as good as flowers.. I will try and bring that item to market in the future. I thought it would happen already in Las Vegas but it didnโ€™t as the production facility started to have financial difficulties.. Life in the flower biz.

Flower is only getting better, I do not miss the 20% or less flowers

  • Weed Entertainment

    Andrew,
There is more science going on than being talked about in this one video.
in all my years I never found a market like now. Something is missing from many hybrid flowers.. Itโ€™s like the joy is gone.
The ask the lab touched on only part of it.
There is feminized flowers, auto flowering flowers and all these genetic modifications have changed something in the flower itself.
There are still good flowers but overall the market has declined in average quality from breeding for more yield and more flower cycles is my guess. Iโ€™m not a scenarist but I do know one Marijuana scientist but I donโ€™t even think he knows. I read an article taking about the genetics of the current market.
I need to dig it up. Itโ€™s very informative.
The Doc is in for the euphoria.. itโ€™s almost impossible to find really euphoric flowers now. Just my take.. Iโ€™m knowledgeable enough from so many tries and life experience.
    ๐Ÿ˜ŽโœŒ๐Ÿผ

  • Andrew Sandberg

I disagree. 35% THC with 3% terps is going to be 10000ร— better than a flower with 15% with 3% terps

โ€‹@Weed Entertainment Doc ask him about Iranian Cannabis it's genetically different

  • Weed Entertainment

    Andrew,
I can give you a 17% flower that can get you very stoned. Many canโ€™t but some can.
There is more than what is known by science going on.. I buy for the euphoria..
Itโ€™s either there are not.. ๐Ÿ˜ŽโœŒ๐Ÿผ
