I do know something,
but not 100% factual but something from insider who sells cookies and involved.
I think Cookies, Lemonnade, Dr Greenthumb’s is like a loose confederation of stores using licenses of others and now the honeymoon is over and people are breaking away.. Burner should have taken his billion and bailed but he is still trying to fight losing battle and he will sell soon enough.
The longer he takes to sell, the less he will get. The weed biz is on the decline and unknowingly cultivators lies, propaganda and greed have killed the genetics in the market and it’s hard to go back. I never thought old flowers were better until now. It’s seems with the advent of gelatos and auto flowering species cultivators created to flower more quickly… everything is about fast grow and high THC.. Quality buzz has left the equation… Cookies will continue to decline at even a more rapid pace as more deals fall apart. The weed biz is full of gangster growers fighting it out for gelato superiority and old genetics days have passed. Many people going back to to home grown flowers again.. my show will change too. I will bring the old Doc’s genetics back.
I’m in the process now.. I have quite the collection of 20 years old good strains.
Some as old as 30 years.. all quality flowers..
The Doc time is coming. I sold my legal licensed flower biz a few years ago as the deal was right. It was not easy to sell as it was dream come to reality but now I’m glad I did.
What a terrible biz.. I know many smart people in the biz.. very few say anything but it’s very difficult..
