    Hey Doc just wanted to chime in on the Gelato wave. It's not the yield or the high THC %, because there are many other higher yielding strains to choose from. it's because gelato takes the least amount of effort to get bag appeal. Nowadays people think like they smoke with their eyes instead of their lungs, so to get top shelf prices growers have to focus on bag appeal which is easiest to achieve with a gelato. Purple, frosty, dense medium size buds (easiest size to fit in mylar bags) with candy flavors are what get the top dollar.
    What would really stop the whole gelato movement is if we stopped buying strains in mylar bags. Theres nothing wrong with gelato...if I wanted a gelato. My frustration with the overabundance is thinking I've got some new strain to try when it's just another gelato.

    @Weed Entertainment I agree with you 💯 % Doc. IM TIRED OF GELATOS ❗I mostly purchase OG's & Kush's. Miss the purps terp era 2005-2009 era... Recommend any good good weed with Purps terps terp or a good OG Doc ? I've purchased some strains you recommended & your spot on!🔥

    This is the voice of truth in a business that’s changing for the worse unless your knowledgeable. We got great weed until the invasion of gelatos.. let these flowers die on the vine.. don’t buy them..
    Force the market to change..
    I still unknowing buy them..
    It’s a tough market now..

    Anything Lemon Cherry
    (which is a good gelato strain) reminds me of gelato. I’m tainted negative likely forever now. The gelato hybrids can’t go away fast enough. I am trying to force a change and I am trying to work out how to best bring my best OG’s back to market again.

    So many people are perpetuating weed nonsense. Something that may have been true but it’s long not true anymore. That’s weed lore, based loosely on some old truth long gone from breeding..
