these days the only reason ill go to JB is to try their driver #19 they used to get me up for some of their home made crosses and strains like this. But ive picked up way too many a mixed zip and have played my game of pass/fail with their strains and had to smoke up or give away the rest of their lesser batches/phenos/strains. I aint gonna pay to be part of a beta testing process for their phenos and etc nonsense other cultivars properly situate as far as curation. Tenders would constantly say nonsense trying to sell the various PHENOS...as id ask basics like which phenos have cookie structure, kush structure, the most trhichoms/frost etc....so i could benchmark all 3 the kush shaped nug/pheno, the cookie shaped nug/pheno....and the frosty phenos to choose the ones that looked like frosty cookie nug fingers or mini kush spades but not big bud/kush sized. And the tenders would just try to sell the # they had the most weight of or some bs. W.o realizing its more or less a taste/terp/curing benchmark among the phenos clearly an approximation of the variance of strains involved in cultivation..... Some how Jb took the fun out of that for me. In this last 1-2 years. The issue to me is....clearly....the level of aptitude with smokers. Not trying to dis-respect anyone....but this is BLUNT weed....just top tier blunt weed....the demographic of JB customers are blunt smokers...i couldnt/wouldnt expect them to know much about pheno variances or specific aspects of strains involved and an ideal pheno theyd like to smoke or try out...they wind up wrapping it in a flavored tobacco leave often with nicotine in it even...SO i personally cant have that high of standards or demands to JB bc as a glass smoker and paper smoker....i cant expect them to have sentiment to the way i smoke or expect wet weed id self cure out of the bag/jar....the way i do with my 710 labs drops. I dont cure my whole 14gz...but ill cure 3-4gs at a time by leaving them out for a few hours and put them in a separate jar. The taste and smoke and even effects take a change especially with strains like gorilla dosha or even unquestionably OG. Or resin hogs in general. I couldnt imagine buying a jar of fresh baked at full price or at a boujee retailer...and then wrapping it in a backwood....yet its SOP for "most" smokers. To me its somewhat insulting not gonna lie. But anyways yeah strains like Sour apple killer, hippy crasher, grape head, grapesicle, fuji etc lemon tree lemon crasher etc.....all for blunt smokers seeking "flavor" in their smoke. Its the conclusion i came to...and it checks out. As much as i like motorbreath the first time i went to get it they had 710 labs unquestionably og in stock...i passed up on it....and as great as motor is to the gas family....unquestionable OG from a taste and buzz is just a benchmark to me for overall ideal kush+gas taste and buzz. Its what made me jump ships
